Time for Reel Action Screenings

This December thousands of delegates, decision-makers, stakeholders, and activists will converge on Copenhagen. To be part of this EngageMedia is putting on home screenings of the Reel Action compilation of Asia-Pacific climate films. Global action is urgent and essential – the time for debate is over.

EngageMedia successfully hosted another video distribution workshop in Jakarta a week ago on the 23-24th May. Twelve people attended and over the two days explored the ways and means of how video makers all over the world are distributing their videos through the online world.

EngageMedia Workshops in Bandung and Yogyakarta

In June 2008 EngageMedia held workshops in the cities of Bandung and Yogyakarta on the island of Java in Indonesia. The workshops involved practical online video training, an introduction to FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) tools for video distribution online, a discussion about online distro in Indonesia, and a report-back from the Transmission Asia-Pacific meeting in Sukabumi in May 2008.
